FROM FASHION SCHOOL TO ALORA

Before ALORA became a brand, it started as a journey through fashion school.

Over the years I explored streetwear, youth culture, identity, craftsmanship and storytelling through clothing.

Every collection, photoshoot, garment and project became a building block that eventually led to ALORA.

What began as sketchbooks, moodboards and late nights in the studio slowly evolved into a brand focused on individuality, self-expression and creating pieces that feel personal.

ALORA is the result of years of experimentation, learning and refining my creative voice.

These images are a glimpse into that journey — the collections, garments and moments that existed before ALORA ever launched.

WHY ALORA EXISTS

I DIDN'T START ALORA TO FOLLOW THE INDUSTRY.

South African streetwear started feeling predictable.

Everything looked the same.

The same graphics.

The same silhouettes.

The same ideas repeated over and over.

The brands that inspired me always seemed to come from somewhere else.

Somewhere bigger.

Somewhere louder.

Somewhere that felt far away.

Instead of waiting for a brand that felt like mine, I built one.

WE DON'T FOLLOW TRENDS.

We build our own lane.

Not for everyone.
